When Tumi Morake confirmed that she was leaving OPW the audience was already unhappy with getting a new presenter before they even met her.
Being the host of Our Perfect Wedding is one of the most difficult presenting gigs one could ever get. The show gets a new presenter every season and not one of the presenters have been welcomed with open arms but funny thing is; in the middle of the season everyone thinks she’s better than the last.
Tumi knows how difficult the OPW gig can get and she recently stood up for her replacement Ayanda Mpama who has taken over from her.
The former SA Idols contestant and musician made her debut on the show on Sunday (5 July), and boy oh boy did she get negative reviews from the audience.
Tumi knows how tough the OPW audience can get so she has asked viewers to give Aya a chance, responding to Julius Malema’s #bringbackTumi tweet, she said:
