Actress and fashion entrepreneur Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has opened up about the possibility of getting married again in the future. She shared her honest thoughts during a recent interview with Nounouche magazine, where she reflected on love, healing, motherhood, and her personal growth.
After six years filled with public attention, court appearances, and a highly publicised divorce from DJ Black Coffee that captured the nation’s attention, Enhle Mbali says she is finally at peace. The actress and Essie Apparel founder revealed that she has reached a place of calm and clarity in her life, allowing her to breathe again after a long and difficult chapter.
For the first time, Mlotshwa also spoke about the new love in her life. However, she made it clear that she is not planning to share too much about her relationship with the public. She explained why privacy has become so important to her.
“I’ve realised that the things that are personal to you, you can’t give it to people, so the relationship I am in right now, I’m not going to give to you. I don’t need to prove to you that I’m in a relationship and I’m extremely happy…” she said.
She added, “Healing taught me that if you care for something deeply, you keep it close to your heart.”
Enhle Mbali also confirmed that she is open to walking down the aisle again one day. “I would definitely get married again. I’m wiser, smarter, and emotionally whole. I’ve healed all of my inner girl trauma,” she shared confidently.
The actress went on to explain that her children remain her top priority. She revealed that she has been very careful about how she introduces dating into her life. “My kids don’t even know I am dating, only recently I am saying ‘I’m going out on a date’, and then the older one is like ‘Yass, okay mom’. I can see how much they appreciate that I’ve respected them,” she said.
Enhle proudly spoke about the strong bond she has built with her children. “My kids feel loved, and there are little traditions that we have, movie nights, pizza Fridays, we have conversations about sex, we have spiritual conversations, we have such a solid foundation that it’s so beautiful.”
She also shared how she teaches her children important life lessons about balance and understanding. “I can tell my kids appreciate me because I’m the one who always has to say, ‘Hey, you don’t have to fight the other side. The other side has a life of their own, just like we have a life, so don’t feel guilty if you’ve eaten on the other side and you’re full and you come to my side’. Those lessons liberate them.”
Enhle Mbali spoke proudly about how close she is with her children, showing that healing, love, and growth remain at the centre of her life.
