Media personality, presenter and TV host Minnie Dlamini has taken time to reflect on her journey, sharing both her achievements and her goals as she steps into a new year. As many people set fresh intentions, Minnie chose to look back with gratitude on everything she managed to accomplish during 2025, a year she describes as challenging but rewarding.
Minnie shared a powerful message on her social media, opening up about how demanding the year was while celebrating her success. She wrote, “2025 tested me loudly. But let’s be clear: I was still winning.”
She went on to list some of her biggest career milestones, including receiving the Forbes Woman Africa Award for Excellence in Entertainment, winning Best Actress in a short film, and appearing on several magazine covers throughout the year. These included Forbes Africa, True Love magazine, Nounouche Online and Dis-Chem Pharmacies, reflecting her strong presence across lifestyle, business and fashion platforms.
Minnie also highlighted her behind-the-scenes achievements, sharing that she became an executive producer on Channel O’s flagship show Club Bangers, hosted an international TV special on Bravo TV Africa, and served as a host on Netflix South Africa’s AFCON Daily Show.
Her success continued through major national campaigns with brands such as 10Bet South Africa and Dis-Chem Pharmacies, with her image featured on billboards across the country. She also celebrated important international moments, including interviewing Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande on the Wicked movie set in Los Angeles, after being exclusively invited by Universal Pictures South Africa. Minnie later attended the Wicked premiere in London, further marking her global footprint.
In addition, Minnie stepped into a leadership role as a keynote speaker at the Creative Industries Business Summit in Zambia, sharing her experience and insights with creatives across the continent. Despite facing personal setbacks during the year, including a break-in at her new offices, she remained focused and resilient. She shared, “New offices. A break-in. Rebuilt anyway.”
Above all, Minnie emphasised that motherhood remained her top priority, saying, “And through all of it I showed up as an incredible mother first.” She closed her reflection with a strong statement of confidence and determination: “The noise was loud. The work was louder. I didn’t survive 2025. I EXECUTED IT.”
