Seng’khathele is back with another intense, emotion-packed season starting Tuesday, 6 January at 20:00, exclusively on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161. This season will be hosted by actress and presenter Manaka Ranaka, bringing her own energy and warmth to the show.

Known for its raw and highly emotional moments, season 7 continues to give couples a safe space to face the issues that have pushed them to the brink of ending their relationships. From infidelity and money problems to abuse and intimacy challenges, the show allows participants to speak their truth, seek closure, and hopefully find a way forward.

Fans can expect heartfelt confessions, tense confrontations, and powerful resolutions as each couple navigates the complexities of love and trust. Manaka Ranaka’s role as host adds a new dimension to the show, guiding participants and viewers through the emotional rollercoaster of each episode.

Don’t miss the premiere: Seng’khathele season 7 starts Tuesday, 6 January at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161.

In other exciting reality TV news, one of Mzansi’s fan-favourite shows is also returning with a brand new season on Mzansi Wethu, DStv Channel 163, in 2026.  Utatakho, which premieres on Monday, 26 January at 19:00.

This season of Utatakho comes with a new host, Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco, and continues to follow emotional journeys of people searching for answers about their biological fathers. In a country where absent fathers and family disputes are common, the show does more than entertain—it reflects real social issues and highlights the pain, hope, and healing that come with discovering the truth.

With these returning favourites, 2026 promises to be a big year for reality TV fans in Mzansi, offering a mix of drama, emotion, and real-life stories that resonate with viewers across the country.
