In her post, Sho Madjozi shared, “GRATITUDE. Colour: Fizz pop Style: Rumi Makeup: @darkberry_makeup Photos: @nevilledikgomo

Joy: my baby and the skating fans! Thank you for bring some every holiday.”

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly filled her comments section with love. Model and book author Refilwe Modiselle commented, “I love this for you so much.”

DJ and actress Pearl Thusi added, “Love this for you!!!!”

Fashion Designer Rich Mnisi wrote, “Sho, Ma Jozi.”

Another fan, nonhlahla_shiny, shared, “I’m just so happy for you.”

This new chapter follows the exciting news Sho Madjozi announced in August 2025. The Limpopo-born star shared that she had welcomed her first child and posted stunning photos of her pregnancy bump in a cream-white dress. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Yal go ahead and enjoy Friday without me. My dream to become a mom has finally come true.”

Sho Madjozi has been open about her journey into motherhood, especially during her recent conversation with Nandi Madida on The Motherhood Network podcast. She spoke honestly about choosing motherhood in a way that feels right for her. In the interview, she explained what being a “choice mom” means to her.

“A choice mom means that I chose to be a mom,” she said. “It wasn’t that, ‘Oh, okay, I was married and because of my marriage I had a child.’ It wasn’t that I chose a man and the child was an aftereffect — no, no, no. I chose to be a mom. That’s what we are as choice women.”

She went on to share that being a choice mom is different from being a single mother. “I am a huge supporter of single mothers and empowering them; however, being a choice mom is different from being a single mother. There are certain struggles that are not seen within the single mom world. They deal a lot with recovery and repair from the baby daddy and the conflict that comes from breaking up,” she explained.

“There is a grief that I have held some of my friends through; I don’t share that grief. I did not choose a man, I chose a child. I wanted to have a child. I was not interested in having a relationship. I have the privilege of not needing a relationship or a man. Our grandmothers did not have that privilege. I have it and I intend to use it,” she added.

Sho Madjozi’s story continues to inspire many. Her honesty, joy and confidence in her choices show her fans that motherhood can be embraced in different ways, and that choosing your own path is something to be celebrated.
