The glamour of South African fashion took centre stage on Saturday, 4 October 2025, at the luxurious Hotel Sky in Sandton. The South Africa Fashion Awards 2025, held in association with MondayRepublic.com, celebrated the designers, brands, and stars shaping the future of South African fashion.
The South Africa Fashion Awards, produced by Republic Africa in partnership with the World Fashion Awards, honours the people who continue to influence and define South African style. The annual event forms part of Republic International Group’s fashion network across 15 countries, recognising creativity, authenticity, and cultural excellence.
This year’s ceremony brought together South Africa’s most fashionable stars and influencers. Among the famous faces who attended were actress Siphesihle Ndaba, model Refilwe Modiselle, TV presenter Kim Jayde, and content creators Munaka and Seemah. The evening was a true celebration of South Africa’s vibrant fashion industry and the personalities who make it thrive.
The highlight of the night came when Kim Jayde walked away with the Best Fashion Icon Award. The stylish presenter and media personality was visibly emotional and later took to social media to thank her supporters.
