Former Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 contestant Jojo, whose full name is Karabo Sejojo, is making waves once again—this time off-screen. Known during the “Umlilo” season as a confident, energetic entrepreneur and talented singer, Jojo won the hearts of viewers with her charisma and soulful presence. Although she didn’t walk away with the winner’s prize, she proudly made it to the finale as the fourth runner-up, leaving fans inspired by her journey.
Today, Jojo is celebrating another major milestone. The singer and songwriter, who also serves as an ambassador for Mzansi Magic, recently graduated and shared stunning pictures of herself in her academic regalia. Alongside the photos, she opened up about the struggles she faced on her path to this achievement.
She shared heartfelt words: “The past two weeks have been some of the heaviest I’ve ever faced. There were moments where it felt like life was coming to an end, like I had no strength left to keep going. But standing here on this day, I am reminded of the power of resilience, prayer, and hard work.”
Jojo added that her graduation symbolizes more than just a qualification. “It’s proof that even in the darkest seasons, the seeds we plant in faith and dedication will bloom. I poured myself into this journey, and today I get to celebrate the reward. I may have cried, I may have stumbled, but I never stopped moving forward. And for that, I am proud of myself. This is only the beginning. Here’s to many more graduations, many more victories, and many more chapters of growth.”
Her powerful message touched many of her followers, who flooded her with congratulatory messages. Content creator and ambassador Mshini Lekwadu wrote: “Congratulations JJ.” Fellow Big Brother Mzansi Season 5contestant Karabo Mphirime also shared her excitement, commenting: “Congratulations puuuuukie,” along with red heart emojis.
In April 2025, she stepped fully into the music industry with the release of her deeply emotional single titled “Ntliziyo Yami.” To announce the project, she had excitedly posted:
“Alexa, play my new song on repeat…well let’s wait till Friday, for now you can pre-save my new single, link in my bio. Let’s do this Warriors.”
The single was released on major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the reality star turned singer-songwriter.
