Theo and Vourné Kgosinkwe Celebrate Five Years of Love and Marriage

South African singer Theo Kgosinkwe and his wife Vourné have reached a beautiful milestone — their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple, who have become a symbol of love and partnership, marked the special day by sharing heartfelt tributes to one another on Instagram.

Theo, best known as one-half of the popular Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo, poured out his gratitude and admiration for his wife. “Happy five years’ anniversary to us, my love Vourné. I thank God for blessing me with a Proverbs 31 woman. I am truly blessed. May God bless us with many more years of love, good health, wealth and success. Makoti wa bakwena, Naledi ya rona. Vourné responded with her own touching message, celebrating not just their love but also a unique way she chose to honor their journey. “Today we celebrate five years of marriage! This year I wanted to celebrate in a different but special way. Though I had the most beautiful white wedding, I never had the chance to experience a traditional wedding, so I created this shoot to honour that side of my journey. Happy anniversary, my love Theo. Their love story has been nothing short of magical. Theo proposed to Vourné on her birthday in 2020 after two years of dating, creating a memory she has described as unforgettable. The couple tied the knot soon after in a small, intimate white wedding, limited by the Covid-19 restrictions at the time. Despite the modest celebration, their bond remained strong, and they dreamed of a bigger moment to celebrate with friends and family.

That dream came true in September 2021, when they renewed their vows in a grand ceremony at a chapel in Ruimsig. Surrounded by loved ones, the celebration marked the start of their family journey together and gave them the chance to fully embrace the joy of marriage.

Now, five years later, Theo and Vourné are not only celebrating their love but also showing how marriage can be a beautiful blend of friendship, commitment, and growth.
