Actor and reality TV star Phila Madlingozi is taking on an exciting new role in the upcoming film Step Thayma. The actor shared the exciting news on social media, revealing that the movie will premiere on Mzansi Bioskop on 14 September 2025 at 7:00 PM, airing on DStv Channel 164.
Phila couldn’t contain his excitement as he announced the project: “Exciting News, Mzansi! Get ready for an unforgettable cinematic experience! My brand-new movie, where I star as the captivating Dr. Phawu alongside Penwell Mkhathini and Lerato Mahlaselao, premieres on Mzansi Bioskop this 14 September 2025 at 7:00 PM on DStv Channel 164!”

Just last year, he appeared on the Showmax Original reality series Born Into Fame, which followed six children of South African celebrities trying to find their own paths to success while living up to their famous family names.
