Influencer, entrepreneur, and Big Brother Titans winner Khosi Twala recently opened up about a difficult business experience that has left her stressed, emotional, and unable to sleep. In a video shared on TikTok, Khosi revealed how a packaging company failed to deliver an important order for her brand Active Lifestyle, despite being paid over R15,000 in May.

@khosi_twala I think I got scammed ☹️ by @iamlyn__m| digital creator 🖤 & @Packaging House Express SA 🤦🏾‍♀️ #packaginghouseexpresssa #scammed #entrepreneur #smallbusiness #packing #iamlyn ♬ original sound – Khosi_twala

“Guys, whatever you do in life, don’t be the reason why people feel like they’ve been attacked by the devil,” she said in the video. “I have not been able to sleep ever since I came back to SA. It’s been three days where I genuinely struggle to fall asleep because of a simple issue that could have been resolved when we launched Active Lifestyle.”

Khosi explained that she made the payment to the packaging company on 15 May, with the promise that the order would be delivered by 5 June. But the deadline came and went—and nothing arrived. “June ended and there was still nothing. They kept coming up with excuses. Literally, we are in July and they still have not [delivered], and the worst part is that people are waiting for their orders,” she said.

While her team tried to keep the business running by using leftover packaging from a previous collection, the ongoing delays caused a major problem for the brand’s new launch. “We wanted to use completely new packaging, but when they kept delaying, we kept using the packaging we had. I am unable to sleep because people spent their money to support my brand,” she said.

Khosi shared her growing concern that the company might have scammed her, especially as they continued to post promotional content online, acting as if their business was running smoothly. “They said their equipment was broken, but they never announced that on their social media. I’m thinking, is this a scam?”

In the video, Khosi mentioned the name of the company and its alleged owner, saying she felt hurt and let down. “I spent R15,000 on this order and I’m starting to realise that I’m not gonna get it. For now I just want to say, don’t be the reason why people can’t sleep at night. Imagine begging people to provide the service that you paid for, for 2 months.”

After her video gained attention, the company—Packaging House Express—released a public apology and a detailed explanation. They denied scamming Khosi and clarified that the order was actually worth R10,000, not R15,000. They blamed the delays on a broken industrial printer that caused a major production backlog.

“We would like to begin by sincerely apologizing to Khosi Twala for the delay,” their statement read. “The delays were not intentional or due to negligence… Our team is working hard and doing our best. We understand Ms. Twala’s frustration and are prioritising her order to ensure that it is completed and dispatched as soon as possible, latest next weekend.”
