The song is more than just a hit. For MaWhoo, Bengicela is deeply personal. She said, “Bengicela is finally out! Still so in awe of the way music allows me to pour my soul into sound. Thank you for letting me be soft, spiritual and still heard. This new release means so much to me.”

The music video for Bengicela has already been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube, showing just how much the song is resonating with people across the world.

After her previous hit Uzizwa Kanjan, MaWhoo worked again with music producers GL_Ceejay, Thukuthela, and Jazzworx to create Bengicela. She explained the meaning behind the song, saying, “This song comes as a plea for God’s mercy and wisdom. There is so much going on in the world we live in. All I pray for is for God to hear us and all of our cries.”

She added, “This song is my way of saying, ‘I see you. I feel what you’re going through. Let’s pray together.’”

MaWhoo’s powerful message, paired with heartfelt lyrics and beautiful vocals, is clearly touching fans across the globe. Bengicela is more than just a song — it’s a prayer, a comfort, and a call for hope in difficult times.
