Model and media personality Ayanda Thabethe recently celebrated her partner Peter Matsimbe’s 35th birthday in a beautiful and intimate setting. Surrounded by close friends and family, the celebration was filled with joy, love, and golden decorations.
Ayanda shared lovely moments from the special day on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the birthday bash. She looked stunning in a black figure-hugging dress and shared a sweet photo of herself giving Peter a kiss on the cheek. The venue was decorated with white and gold balloons, adding a touch of elegance to the event.
In her post, Ayanda wrote a heartwarming message to Peter: “It’s crazy how you’re on TOP but you’re just getting started. Happy birthday to my KING. Here’s to looking at you forever my king.”
The couple share two young sons and have been growing stronger together each year. They got engaged in December last year, and Ayanda revealed the romantic proposal took place on December 27th. The proposal looked like a scene from a movie. It featured a walkway covered in white flower petals leading up to LED lights that spelled out “Will you marry me?” A violinist played soft music as Ayanda walked down the aisle, and a cameraman caught every emotional moment.
Speaking about the proposal, Ayanda shared this beautiful message with her followers: “You are the perfect sunset where my quest for love has found its ending and the spectacular sunrise where my most meaningful adventure begins. Thank you for the greatest gift of all: your heart and our sons. I am deeply honoured to be your first and only wife, the one chosen to share this lifetime of love with you.”
Earlier this June, Ayanda also posted a touching memory on her Instagram stories. She marked four years since she first met Peter on May 31, 2021. In her post, she wrote: “Four years ago on May 31 2021, I met the guy I wanted to annoy forever. Life has changed so much since then but annoying you is for life. Love you with all my heart my love. Thank you for changing my life and making me the happiest wife ever.”
