But Thuli was quick to respond to the speculation, setting the record straight on her Instagram Stories. She firmly denied dating Kupa and asked fans to stop linking her to people she’s not even interested in.
“Let me indulge you for a sec… You guys need to stop trying to link me to people I wouldn’t even consider dating… I’m not dating Scott Kupa. The end,” she wrote.

To further dismiss the rumour, Thuli also made a joke in one of her Instagram posts. In the photos, she looked stunning as usual, but when it came to writing a caption, she said, “All the captions I wrote about NOT dating Scott were weighing down the vibe so I just landed on M.” This shows that she’s tired of the drama and just wants to enjoy posting content without being dragged into false stories.
According to The Citizen, this isn’t the first time Scott Kupa’s name has come up in connection with a South African celebrity. In December 2023, Musa Khawula also claimed that popular content creator and influencer Mihlali Ndamase went on an expensive trip to London paid for by Kupa. However, Scott denied the story and told gossip blog Maphepha Ndaba that he didn’t even know who Mihlali was.
