On Instagram, Thabiso posted another message that touched many fans. He wrote, “Please come back dad,” along with a broken heart emoji. His posts show how much Presley meant to him, not just as a co-star, but as a mentor and father figure.

Presley Chweneyagae’s death shocked many in the entertainment industry and across the country. According to the family spokesperson, Mzwakhe Sigudla, Presley passed away from natural causes related to breathing problems. “Paramedics were called to the house and attended to him. We appreciate the professional manner in which the paramedics handled the situation, but unfortunately, he didn’t make it,” Sigudla shared.

Thabiso’s bond with Presley grew stronger during the filming of The River, where both actors showed their talent and connection on screen. Thabiso’s emotional farewell has reminded fans just how powerful and real their father-son relationship appeared on TV.

As reported by The Citizen, Presley’s family has confirmed that there will be two memorial services in his honor. “One will be in Mahikeng next week on Tuesday (3 June), and the other will be in Pretoria next Thursday (5 June),” said Sigudla. He also announced that the funeral will take place on Saturday (7 June) around Pretoria, with venue details to be confirmed soon.

Fans continue to send love and support to both Thabiso and the Chweneyagae family during this difficult time.
