South African media personality and Born Into Fame star Shamiso Mosaka has revealed that she recently flew to Turkey for a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) — putting an end to online pregnancy rumours. The 26-year-old radio presenter shared her surgery journey on Instagram, showing fans a behind-the-scenes look at her experience at the Mono Clinic in Izmir, Turkey.
Shamiso, who travelled to the country alone for the procedure, took to Instagram to set the record straight and show her supporters what really happened. “I came to a foreign country by myself to have a surgery that is not child’s play. A BBL is not a joke,” she said in one of her video updates. “Please understand me when I say this, it’s not a f*****g joke.”
The same clinic, Mono Clinic, is known for treating other celebrities like Khanyi Mbau, who recently underwent eyelid surgery there. Shamiso praised the care and luxury she received during her stay, from being picked up at the airport to her comfortable recovery room. She also highlighted the care provided by her surgeon, Dr. Eren Ersöz, who worked closely with her to achieve the results she wanted.
“I came all the way to Izmir, Turkey, to Mono Clinic to get a Brazilian butt lift done. Everything was made easy for me — from airport pickup to arriving at the hospital,” Shamiso explained. “I got to rest, had my blood taken, and met my surgeon. He wanted to do what I wanted on my body. We had the same vision.”
She also spoke about how well she was treated after the surgery. She had her own private room, an on-site nurse, and regular check-ins every 30 minutes to an hour. She received lymphatic drainage massages as part of her recovery, which are important for healing after a BBL.
Shamiso used the opportunity to educate her followers, warning them not to take the surgery lightly. “It’s not a game. A BBL is a serious procedure, and you need to be mentally and physically prepared for it,” she said.
Despite the challenges, Shamiso said she was grateful for how everything turned out. “I couldn’t have been better taken care of. The hospital staff, the nurses — everyone was just amazing,” she said.
