Former Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner, Enrico Vermaak. The couple, who have been together for nearly nine years, exchanged vows on March 16 in an intimate and picturesque ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Natasha shared her excitement and gratitude, promising fans a closer look at her big day soon.
“I promise I’m sharing all things wedding soon. I woke up feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. Our wedding day was perfect. From the weather to our guests, to the décor, details, everything! I cried the entire day out of joy as I stood at the aisle and a while in I asked my sister — is my makeup OK? She could not even lie, she was like nope. Best day of our lives,” she wrote.
Natasha and Enrico’s love story began nearly a decade ago, and their engagement was announced in January 2024. The proposal was nothing short of magical, taking place during a sunset yacht cruise from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Since then, Natasha has been sharing her journey to becoming Mrs. Vermaak, posting moments from her multiple pre-wedding celebrations.
Ahead of her big day, Natasha gave her followers a glimpse of her emotions and excitement. She shared a heartfelt message, writing, “If you’re not Enrico, keep scrolling. I can’t wait to marry you today @enrico.vermaak.”
In another post, she expressed her joy at spending her final moments as a Miss with her closest friends and family. “IT’S HERE!!! Get ready with me for the last day as a Miss! I’m so overly blessed to have this dinner with the people nearest and dearest to me! I’m becoming a wife.”
The celebrations leading up to the wedding were equally special. Natasha shared pictures of their rehearsal dinner at Cavalli Estate, a place that now holds sentimental value for the newlyweds.
“Pre-wedding celebrations at the venue we will forever remember as the most special place to us – @cavalliestate. Uniting two families together is something worth celebrating. What a PERFECT night paired with some perfect company and @cavalliestate wines – and of course a South African braai. (P.S – I promise the wedding content is coming),” she wrote.
