YouTuber and media personality Lasizwe Dambuza has shared a heartfelt message with his followers, urging them to appreciate their parents while they are still alive. Lasizwe, who lost both of his parents at a young age, recently posted an emotional tribute on Instagram, remembering his late mother and father.

On his Instagram story, Lasizwe shared a touching photo of himself at his mother’s gravesite, holding fresh flowers. He captioned the image with a deeply emotional message: “TODAY WAS NEEDED… TEARS ROLLED DOWN ON MY FACE BUT MY HEART SORTA BECOME OK! MOM I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SOO MUCH! MY ANGE!”

In another post, Lasizwe wrote: “LOVE YOUR PARENT LOUDLY WHILE YOU STILL CAN! SOME OF US… CAN’T.” The message resonated with many of his followers, including one who commented, “Sending you love and light.”

Lasizwe lost his mother in 2016 when he was just 18 years old. According to IOL, he first shared the devastating news of his mother’s passing with two pictures of himself and his father, expressing his pain and confusion: “My last alive parent, my dad has passed on. I am numb and so confused! I am shattered!! First my mom, now my dad! I don’t know how to feel!!! Like how does one say ‘My parents are deceased!’ like I don’t have no parents no more. Like they dead!”

His father passed away in September 2020, leaving Lasizwe without any parents. In a conversation with TshisaLIVE, Lasizwe explained why he chose not to share much about the recent unveiling ceremony of his mother’s gravestone. “I was quite emotional as this reminded me I no longer have parents on earth. To this day I struggle to deal [with] and process my parents’ passing. This is one of [my] anxiety triggers,” he said.

Lasizwe also expressed pride in his sister, Khanyisile, who took charge of the event as the head of the family. “I am so proud of Khanyisile as the first born and head of the family. She organised everything and everything came out so well,” he said.
