South African rapper Cassper Nyovest is teasing the return of his iconic “Fill-Up” concert series after a memorable moment at Chris Brown’s recent show. Inspired by the overwhelming support he received from fans, Cassper Nyovest hinted at filling up FNB Stadium once again, just as he did in 2017 when he made history by bringing in over 60,000 people.
Cassper Nyovest shared a video from the concert on social media, showing Chris Brown’s DJ, DJ Fresh, spinning Cassper Nyovest’s classic hit, “Doc Shebeleza,” as the crowd sang along enthusiastically. The powerful scene of 98,000 fans rapping word-for-word left Cassper Nyovest visibly moved.
“It’s not every day that Chris Brown’s tour DJ @iamdjfresh plays a record I dropped 10 years ago and 98,000 people rap word for word,” Cassper Nyovest wrote on Instagram. “South Africa, y’all have held me down and ke batla go le Leboga!!! Legendary!!! Got me feeling like maybe we should Fill Up FNB one more time!!! Y’all game???”
Cassper Nyovest’s 2017 “Fill Up” concert at FNB Stadium was a groundbreaking achievement, with over 60,000 fans turning up for the event. Now, with the energy from Chris Brown’s concert still fresh in his mind, it seems Cassper Nyovest is ready to take the challenge to a new level.
