TV personality Minnie Dlamini recently attended the Los Angeles premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King, where she was among an impressive group of stars. The red carpet event featured famous faces like French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing, Instagram personality Jodie Woods and her model sister Jordyn Woods, as well as actor Seth Rogen. South African talent also joined the festivities, including actress Thuso Mbedu, actors John Kani and Atandwa Kani, and renowned composer and producer Lebo M, who contributed to the film’s soundtrack.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Dlamini expressed her gratitude to Lebo M for allowing her to be part of his incredible journey. She wrote:

“To the Legend himself @thereallebo_m, Thank you for trusting me with your journey. Not only did you make my childhood dreams come true by letting me share your light at the #Mufasa LA Premiere, but getting to work with you as a producer documenting your life and journey is such an honour.”

Dlamini continued, thanking Lebo M for believing in her and praising the film: “Mufasa is absolutely STUNNING!!! Our SA stars stole the show > it’s a must-see!!! The cast, the music, the story—Africa Stand Up!!! We have a new film for our kids to love just like the impact the original film had on US.”

Her post reflects her excitement and pride in being part of such a significant project, with the global premiere showcasing African talent on the world stage.
