Khosi Twala, the South African star who shot to fame after winning Big Brother Titans, is now making waves as the cover girl for Top Charts South Africa Magazine. Dressed in bold Imprint ZA fashion and rocking trendy Bantu knots, Khosi embodies the confidence and style that has captivated audiences across the continent.

In an exclusive interview with Top Charts SA, Khosi shared insights into her journey from a regular journalist to becoming one of Africa’s most influential figures. “It’s surreal,” Khosi says, reflecting on her transformation. “I went from being a regular girl working as a journalist to becoming a continental icon.” The Big Brother Titans platform not only elevated her fame but also gave her a chance to inspire millions across Africa. However, the road to success wasn’t without its bumps.

“I went through quite a lot after leaving the house,” Khosi admits. “Nothing could ever prepare you for overnight success, even though it wasn’t necessarily overnight. Some people didn’t believe I deserved a seat at the table because, according to them, I hadn’t worked hard enough to earn it.” Despite the criticism, Khosi remains grounded. “I never wanted to be a superstar—I just want to make money, provide for my family, and make my Khosi Reigns proud. Because, let’s be honest, nobody owes you anything, not even a lousy hello.”

Despite the challenges, Khosi has managed to carve out a lasting place in the limelight. Her influence on social media is undeniable, with Khosi being named the best-performing South African on the Top Charts Africa Social Charts. “It’s incredible, and it still shocks me,” Khosi says, expressing gratitude. “One of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou is, ‘I do my best because I’m counting on you counting on me.’ That’s exactly how I feel about my Khosi Reigns. They’ve been a significant part of my success. They made me, I am them, and they are me. Always and forever.”

Khosi’s influence goes beyond her social media presence. As the CEO of Active Lifestyle, she champions health and wellness, particularly for people from backgrounds like hers. “Health is wealth,” she says. “I want to inspire people to do better in terms of taking care of their well-being.” Her goal is to turn Active Lifestyle into a lasting legacy that helps people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Khosi’s commitment to helping others extends beyond her career. Through her nonprofit, Good Deeds, she uplifts those in need and shares her belief in the power of kindness. “I’ve always believed that my true calling in this life is to help and uplift others,” she explains. “My life feels empty and purposeless whenever I am not sharing a part of myself and what I have with others.”

Looking to the future, Khosi is focused on expanding her reach. She’s pursuing her dream of hosting a live audience program, an idea she’s had since secondary school. “I always thought the only time I would say I have made it in life is when I have my own show broadcasted on TV with a live audience. To be quite frank, I’m still chasing that dream, and I know that it’s just a matter of time until I live it out.”

When it comes to fashion, Khosi says it reflects her personality. “I like being sophisticated, elegant, and confident in whatever I wear,” she explains. Though she doesn’t consider herself a fashion icon, Khosi’s polished style speaks volumes about her confidence and elegance.

Despite her numerous awards and accolades, Khosi remains humble. “I appreciate all the recognition, but I don’t want it to get into my head,” she says. “God has been good, and I understand that all that is given can also be taken away.”

Looking ahead, Khosi shares her desire to travel the world, focusing on volunteering in refugee camps in places like Rwanda, Sudan, and Chad. “I also want to see Active Lifestyle take over the continent,” she says. “Each day, I lay a brick on brick, and someday, I’ll have something extraordinary to show for it.”
