South African Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla Seethal made a triumphant return to her homeland this week, delivering an unforgettable private performance for a select group of fans. Held at a special Coke Studio event, the intimate concert had the crowd buzzing with excitement as they waited for the Water hitmaker to take the stage.
According to The Citizen, fans who were lucky enough to win tickets or receive invites to the exclusive event were treated to more than just a performance. The night was a celebration of all things Tyla, with a vibrant atmosphere that highlighted her growing global influence.
During the concert, Tyla debuted her new hit single, Tears, produced in collaboration with Coke Studios. The 22-year-old star also energised the crowd with high-energy performances of chart-topping songs from her debut album Tyla, including Jump and Truth or Dare.
In her signature bold fashion style, Tyla stepped out in a figure-hugging tiger print skirt, a beige monokini top, and a furry Russian hat, showcasing her trendsetting persona. Known for breaking fashion rules, she once again showed that she does things her way.
“It’s incredible to perform for the people who have supported me from the very beginning,” Tyla shared, visibly moved by the warm reception from her fans. Her joy was infectious, and she treated the crowd to an extra song as they cheered for more.
The event was also attended by local celebrities, including Rachel Kolisi, Zinhle ”Zee” Mofokeng, and Grace Mondlana, adding to the star-studded atmosphere of the night.
