Former Miss South Africa 2018 and medical doctor Tamaryn Green was taken by surprise when her close friends threw her a heartwarming baby shower. Expecting a simple lunch with the girls, Tamaryn arrived to a delightful celebration filled with white and gold balloons, fun games, delicious food, and a shower of gifts.
Sharing a snippet of the special event, Tamaryn expressed her joy, saying, “What I thought was a lunch with the girls turned out to be a surprise baby shower thrown by my school friends. Some of us have been friends for 21 years and now our circle is growing. Thank you, and for having the guys involved as well. I can’t wait for our baby to meet all the uncles and aunts.”
Adding a playful note on her Instagram story, she teased about the competitive nature of her friends: “Surprise baby shower. Loved it! This bunch is super competitive. Also giving me an idea as to who I’ll ask to baby sit.”
Tamaryn and her husband, businessman Ze Nxumalo, announced their pregnancy in August, coinciding with her 30th birthday. She shared the news with a touching caption: “Couldn’t have asked for a better gift on my 30th birthday. What a blessing we’ve been given.”
