Controversy Erupts Over VIP Treatment for Jozi FM’s New Star, Penny Ntuli

The arrival of Penny Ntuli, at Jozi FM has sparked whispers of discontent among some of her colleagues, according to insiders at the station.

Sources within ZiMoja have revealed that Ntuli is allegedly basking in royal treatment at the Soweto-based radio station. It’s reported that CEO Mpho Mhlongo personally chauffeurs her to and from the station, with some claiming he even waits to drive her back to her temporary home after her shows. While Ntuli’s presence has undeniably injected a buzz into the station, attracting a flurry of visitors including celebrities and politicians like the IFP Youth Brigade, some staff members are feeling overlooked by the lavish attention showered upon her.

The concern among some insiders is that this preferential treatment could set a troubling example, with other staff members potentially asking for similar treatment in the future.  “…But the management is starting something they won’t stand for as time goes on,” one source cautioned. Among the perks reportedly enjoyed by Ntuli are outings to popular Soweto eateries like Disoufeng and Vilakazi Street, adding fuel to the fire of discontent brewing among some colleagues.

However, Mhlongo did confirm that she is indeed picked up from her home by station drivers due to her unfamiliarity with the area.
