#RHODurban’s Jojo Reveals Why She Will Not Be In The Next Season Of The Show. The reality television star took to her socials to rant about some of the treatment she has been subjected to on the show. She also said that recent comments made about her husband are the main reasons for not choosing to return.
Taking to her Instagram stories, in a series of posts Jojo said that she was fed up of the bullying culture and crude comments the cast members made of one another. Further adding that the last straw for her were unsavoury comments made about her husband who has been ill for some time, this follows the recent heated episode with co-star and now ex-friend Annie Mthembu.
“I will never do housewives again. Bringing my husband into this s*** and then watching everyone laughing about serious issues. His father passed from a heart attack a few months before these episodes were shot. It’s not a joke topic. I actually feel sick watching this show,” she wrote.
She further revealed that as a pupil she never had a pleasant experience at school. Bullies made it a mission to make her schooling experience a living nightmare. Additionally, the treatment she was receiving from some of the cast members are similar to what she experienced back in school.
“I was bullied in school and here I am watching similar things happening again on national TV for the whole country to see. In school I had people telling the one friend I had not to be friends with me. And it worked. At one point I remember I would eat lunch in the bathroom so no one would see that I had no friends,” Jojo wrote.
“And now the whole country gets to watch this shit. people laughing at us and telling us to *voetsek* at the dinner table and clapping when we left. Me running away because this is past trauma I dealt with. And I’m reliving it as an adult,” Robinson added.
On numerous occasions, Jojo has hinted at leaving the franchise and prioritising things that contribute to her wellbeing in a positive manner. In early February in a video posted to her Instagram story, she was quoted as saying, “I want to be done with TV, done with reality. I am done with that whole life, I just want to manifest the best housewife life-like, concentrate on my family and like health and happiness. I just want the drama out of my life, war and TV out of my life. So, let’s just move past.”
