Lawrence Maleka is making all the girls drool with his hosting skills and his killer sense of style. We all know Bonang’s shoes are not easy to fill but Lawrence is doing a stellar job as the new host of Clash of the Choirs. Here are things you might not know about the talented and hot Lawrence Maleka.

1. Lawrence got his start as presenter of The Gadget Show on community TV station Soweto TV, in 2009. He hosted a number of other shows for the broadcaster, including Ziyamporomo and Street Radio.

2. From Soweto TV , he went on to host an entertainment show that exposed him to the whole continent on Africa Magic called Star Gist alongside Vimbai Mutinhiri.

3. He hosted a below the line promo show for Coca Cola on e.tv called Coca Cola Happiness and in 2014 he made an appearance on etv’s I Love South Africa.

4. One of his proudest achievement is his first television show where he had the highest ratings for the channel.

5. In May 2015 he became a presenter of the lottery game show Lotto Powerball, airing on e.tv on Tuesdays and Fridays.

6. Lawrence is also an actor,  he had a recurring role as Don Webster on the third season of the Mzansi Magic soapie isiBaya.

7. Some of his favorite artists are Abdulla Ibraham, Jay-Z, Florence and the Machines, Crash Car Burn and Hugh Masekela.

8. He cites ‘Capitalist Nigger’, ‘Arqutacts Of Poverty’, ‘The Art Of War’ and ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ as his favourite books  and enjoys watching series such as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ’The Good Wife’ and ‘Private Practice.
