In a delightful and playful social media post, American singer and rapper 6LACK sent waves of excitement through his South African fanbase by announcing his return to the country. The video, which features the artist spinning a globe before dramatically landing on South Africa, has ignited a flurry of anticipation as 6LACK is set to grace the stage at the upcoming Rocking the Daisies festival in Cape Town.

This marks the second time that 6LACK will be performing in the Mother City, with his last appearance at the popular festival taking place in 2018. The video also includes nostalgic highlights from his previous visit, showcasing his interactions with local fans who have eagerly awaited his return. “It’s been 6 years… see you soon,” he captioned the post, sending his South African fans into an absolute frenzy.

Rocking the Daisies, Cape Town’s biggest music and lifestyle festival, is pulling out all the stops for this year’s event. Earlier this year, the festival’s organizers announced another major headliner, Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra, further building the excitement for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.

The official Rocking the Daisies Instagram page echoed the excitement, sharing, “If it’s nice, do it twice. Back and better than ever, CPT welcome @6lack to the RTD stage.” They also added a message for fans across the country, “South Africa stand up! Please welcome East Atlanta’s golden child @6lack to the Daisies and In The City line-ups for what promises to be two ground-shattering performances in both CPT and JHB.”

Fans can catch 6LACK live on October 5th in Cape Town and October 6th in Johannesburg. With a lineup like this, tickets are sure to sell out quickly, so make sure you grab yours and get ready for a music experience that will be remembered for years to come.
